@yorkshire.fossils: What an incredible day fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast! 🤩 A huge shale collapse had exposed countless fossil-bearing rocks, and amongst them we discovered some amazing Jurassic treasures dating back around 185 million years! 🏝️ One of the highlights was finding an Eleganticeras sp. ammonite preserved inside a pyrite nodule** — an incredible little piece of Jurassic history! 😍🦕 Discoveries like this are exactly what make fossil hunting so exciting; you never know what could be hidden inside the next rock! 🔎⚒️ It’s always amazing to recover these ancient fossils before natural erosion and the sea claim them forever. 🌅 Thanks so much for following our adventures and supporting Yorkshire Fossils! 🦖🦑📍 Yorkshire Fossils operates in full compliance with UK fossil collecting regulations.
