I inspect my Brussels plants daily I squish the eggs wen I see them and then last thing at night wen it’s dark out come the caterpillars from the eggs I missed so yep I pick them off and squish them too

I'm having flashbacks to the time I tried growing pumpkins as a kid and bastard grubs would bore into the fruit when it was around apple sized. Didn't get a single mature pumpkin from those plants.
