we have always practiced “no thank you bites”, you try something and if you don’t like it you say “no thank you” and we find an alternative. it has opened doors to so many foods rather than stereotype a kid into a box. kids have pallets too, you just have to offer. they don’t know unless they’re taught <3

As a kid I learned to use them correctly with popcorn. Easy to pickup and no mess.

I loved crab legs as a kid (still do). When I was maybe 5, the executive chef of a nice seafood restaurant sat at the table with my family and taught me how to crack the legs so you got all the meat. I still do it like that to this day.

My stepdad was good friends with a Chinese family that owned a restaurant that we ate all the time and the owner and his wife showed my brother and I at a young age how to use them and so I surprise waiters when I ask for them and can use them. Your little will get it in no time! 👏
