@walkinggirll: Map at the end 🗺️ This is my favourite autumn walk in the Peaks District. It has some of the most stunning colours, and sees such varying scenery all the way along. I did this one rainy October morning, to make the most of the orange colours. 📍8 miles, Grindleford 📈 Medium - this has tricky terrain, and has lots of hills 🅿️ S32 3YR (this starts on Froggart Edge) There are a couple of car parks near Froggart Edge on the A625 which are roadside Longshaw, Burbage and the Easten Moor National trust car park 🦌 The deer are beautiful but obviously these are wild animals so please keep your distance, keep dogs on leads and respect that this is their home! 🥾 Make sure to wear hiking boots because during autumn it is slippy underfoot with the rocky terrain 🍔 The Bridge Inn in Curbar does food and drink #uk #Hiking #peakdistrict #lakedistrict
