I remember going to the movies with a friend at 8 and ice skating at 8 and walking allllll around the neighborhood without any issues. Now I can’t even fathom letting my daughter do those things at that age

I rode my bike or walked to the store when I was a kid about his age. Maybe they should have more cross walks. I never got stopped riding my bike when I was a kid.

I walk to the store all the time and I was 5, 6 and 7.. goes to show you the world have become so unsafe a child cant even walk to the store for snack.. how sad. Im glad the trooper made sure he was good

Man when I was 10 we biked to the next town over, cops stopped us and told us to get home by dark cause our parents would be mad 😂

My mom would tell us about our older brother would walk to the gas station with a note in his hand and money for cigs. He was 7/8 he was born in 78’
