The 42” inch OLED from LG is NOT TOO BIG AS A MONITOR (for me personally)!! just WOW = my first impression after turning on an oled panel. Read below 👇🏽 why I decided to try out the OLED 42 inch instead of my double stacked 34 inch setup. - PRICE: two 34 inch WQHD from gigabyte cost: 540€ x 2 = 1080€ and the LG OLED 42 inch costs 1080€! - 120hz on the oled panel (which is way more than enough for me) and 144hz on the gigabyte 34 inch. - i previously owned two 34 inches stacked and they were great but flipping the top screen upside down (for a cleaner look) caused rendering issues because RGB was flipped to BGR. - the monitors had way too much bezel. This was frustrating because the screen itself had borders too - stacking them created a dull and unattractive middle line (obviously because they’re stacked) - having the top monitor flipped caused different in colors as well as contrast and brightness (very noticeable in person) - less screen space on double stacked 34 inch in comparison to a 42 inch oled panel I’ve heard there are VERY VERY rare cases of screen burn-ins. But to stay safe i did the following: - hide the taskbar - get rid of icons on home screen - apply a dynamic (moving or changing) wallpaper and DONE! Next step is mounting the speakers on the wall!! . .
