This is clearly a push from the major model providers to encourage regulatory capture, save their IPOs, and give them an excuse to pace their model development bc the latest models really aren’t much better. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a real leap and they’re all making dough with the same ingredients they all know it’s only a matter of time until the differences between them are aesthetic at best. If they gain regulatory capture they’re locked in for the foreseeable future.
