Mama spotted one final solution: an old clean-out hatch that could redirect the grain into an empty drainage trench. She broke its jammed locking peg, released the pressure and freed her baby. But the entire silo began collapsing before they could escape. Mama covered Chick-B with her own body as the farmyard disappeared inside a giant cloud of grain and dust.
