the ol' man is a NH icon, anyone growing up in the new england area knows of him. It was always "we're coming up to the old man, look out your windows" every time we went through the notch

It’s not the real deal but check out this in front of a business in NH. That must’ve taken some time to build.

I was absolutely sick when they voted to take it down. It was part of New Hampshire’s nostalgia and history and it really pissed me off.

I took a wonderful friend, like a sister to me from England to see The Old Man, and recently, my 2 nieces to view what once was, & the museum 🥰

I saw it many times, but never took a picture. I thought it would be there forever, but I was wrong. He came down, May 3rd, 2003. I was working that Saturday, but on Monday, I went down to Franconia Notch to pay my respects.?
