This happened to me around 4 years ago… went there to buy mtn sim for grandfather, he registered it, collected all my details including my NIN, after he was done, he told the sim will start working after some hours or maybe the following day, so few hours after I left his place, I received an SMS that my NIN was used to registered two numbers, the one he gave me and another number entirely… the following day, I went to his shop and asked for the second sim he registered with my NIN and he denied he didn’t register any sim with my NIN. Omo he sleep for police station o, for two days I think, I almost charge him to court sef but because his people came and begged he was released and they retrieved the line he registered with my details for me…… those people selling sim by the road can implicate you if you are not careful
