![Sukuna vs Modulo Yuji is one of the most interesting hypothetical matchups to discuss because it’s basically comparing the strongest version of Sukuna we’ve seen with a Yuji who has continued to evolve far beyond what he was capable of during the original Jujutsu Kaisen story. Sukuna has always been portrayed as an absolute monster, possessing an absurd combination of cursed energy, physical strength, battle IQ, durability, regeneration, and some of the most dangerous techniques in the entire series. His ability to adapt during fights and understand cursed techniques on an extremely high level makes him one of the hardest characters to realistically defeat. However, Modulo Yuji is a completely different version of Yuji from the one Sukuna originally fought. Yuji’s growth throughout the story was already ridiculous, and seeing how far he develops afterward makes this matchup much more interesting because he isn’t simply relying on raw physical strength anymore. His understanding of jujutsu, combat experience, cursed energy control, and overall versatility have continued to develop, meaning he can potentially challenge Sukuna in areas where the younger version of Yuji simply couldn’t. The biggest question is whether Yuji’s later growth has finally allowed him to close the massive gap that once existed between him and Sukuna, or whether Sukuna’s overwhelming experience, techniques, and sheer combat ability would still be enough to put him down. Sukuna has the advantage in experience and has already demonstrated an incredible ability to fight through almost any situation, while Yuji has the advantage of being a fighter whose entire journey has been about adapting, evolving, and becoming stronger through every battle. This matchup ultimately comes down to whether Modulo Yuji has reached the point where his evolution can genuinely surpass the King of Curses, or if Sukuna is still simply on another level entirely.
