As a malnourished orphan in the streets it would be natural for him to have a boisterous appetite and actually overeat or save food due to the ingrained scarcity mindset he grew up in. It was shown that he ate his AND JC portions of Yanli’s soup…so it’s safe to say that the trauma and grief he went through and time in the Burial Mounds significantly affected his relationship with food afterwards. Then later, living in Cloud Recesses where he notoriously hates their plain ritualistic food would not help matters 😭

tengo la opinión de que wei wuxian solo come cuando tiene hambre, razón por la cual cuando regreso y le dieron de comer en la finca mo se comió el arroz a pesar de que el mismo dijo que eran sobras, el cuerpo de mo xuanyu tenía hambre y si o si iba a tener que comérselo, siendo que el no es realmente una persona quisquillosa (especialmente porque de pequeño tuvo que comer basura y en los túmulos funerarios cualquier cosa) pero se hacía el que si porque genuinamente le gustaba más lo que hacía jiang YanLi y quería estar con ella
