I told both of my exes who cheated on me the same thing when they came back promising they would change. you already had your chance to show me who you are. Once I see that you’re a slave to attention and validation, to the point that you’re willing to risk losing me for it, I can’t convince myself that you’re suddenly capable of change. I can't romanticize the person you could become when I’ve already seen the person you chose to be before I found out.

Most Attention seekers are liars… they lie to themselves also, it’s a self soothing tactic. Their only loyalty lies with them & them alone. Even if it appears to be quite contrary it’s only because that person or thing is a benefit to them. They will cut off their own nose to spite their own face… yes it is that deep! They are not to be trusted.
