For example, with a 25kg bag of creep feed priced at 485, each piglet consumes roughly 2kg before weaning, which means a single litter of 14 piglets eats 28kg of feed totaling about 543.20. When you scale that across three sows farrowing 14 piglets each at different times, you are feeding 42 piglets a combined total of 84kg of creep feed, which takes around 3.36 bags and costs you roughly 1,629.60 just to get them off milk. When lowball buyers tempt you to hold onto these animals, those daily expenses keep compounding until all your capital is gone, proving that being different only works if you already have a locked market willing to pay for that extra value.
