The phones, including iPhone XR, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro, are reportedly believed to have been imported from Dubai through Togo into Ghana. The interception comes amid increased Customs monitoring of the movement of mobile phones into the country, particularly following Mr. Aaron Kanor’s explanation that travellers carrying multiple phones may be required to declare the items and pay the appropriate customs duties.
