Is the Bissell plastic? Stainless steel and ceramic are recommended. I have the motor/filter setup on the stainless steel, the filter does come out of it and you don't put the cord that way. Sorry I just deep cleaned 3 fountains, I'm so over them😂

This is crazy because I bought the stainless steel one a while ago and when people were trying to sell it they said you wouldn’t have to change the water for 2 weeks, now that there’s a new product to sell all of a sudden it “gets buildup in 2 days”

filter water for cats doesn't need changing often at all we clen ours every 2 weeks and refill the water very often with 3 cats so why and plastic fountains build up bacteria where ss doesn't we also used filtered water in the fountains not tap
