I generally enjoy your mc tips, and I actually have adopted the 3x3 rule for all of my builds now, but I can not understand why anyone would use artificial shading like this. It looks completely off given the position of the actual sun.

I don't do shading on my build, i think it's because i already have shaders and if i put shading on my builds it looks weird
