This is why I hate that they try to say chronic illness is just in your head when it affects you mentally. Like ofc it does… it sucks and makes you miserable 😃 that doesn’t mean my sickness is just anxiety and depression. These things got so bad BECAUSE of how chronically ill I am.

I had to stop driving for a 4 year period, not because I was physically prohibited from driving but because my pain was so excruciating that it made it impossible to focus on tasks - I was terrified I was going to cause a wreck so I just never went anywhere
