@gwendolynelizabethswim: I started this swimwear brand after living on the island of Oahu for a couple of years. I fell in love with long days laying in the sun and island style. I’ve been in the fashion industry for over 10 years and it has always been my dream to design. This brand is my dream come true. It’s a small business still and I run it completely by myself. I hope one day it can become successful enough to do fashion shows and open up bikini shops on islands all over the world. Ah a girl can dream…. My bikinis are sustainably and ethically handmade as being in the fashion world for so many years I understand the impact fast fashion can cause. Island girls love bikinis, they live everyday in them! But they also love the planet. It should be important to be able to look and feel good in what you wear as style is something deeply personal.
