I remember it well that August of 1963 I was 8 years old I loss my grandmother right before that September school year then that 16 Street Baptist Church in Birmingham AL happened because my father watched the news every morning and evening. I also remember where I was November 22, 1963 when JFK was assassinated, I was on my elementary school playground, my teacher called us all back inside the classroom then later we all when home. All the 60s was horrible for black people. 1965 was the assassination of Malcolm X, the signing of the Civil Rights Act, the Watts Riot and George Wallace famous, “ Segregation Forever speech” but early ‘72 George Wallace which and campaign for the the Democratic tix and was pew pew and had to have a blk man take care of him paralyzed in a wheelchair. America entire history is sick and white racist.😏👍🏿👏🏿✊🏿✊🏿
