How do people not feed their cats wet food? I’ll never understand how people don’t research how important wet food is and just feed them dry kibble…mine has a steel fountain, and he gets a can of wet food every day, split up into breakfast and dinner portions

My cat refuses to eat wet cat food. She will try to cover it up like she is in her litter box & it is something unspeakable. We have even tried mixing it with dry food. She will not eat shredded chicken, tuna, or cat treats of any type. Strictly dry food only.

I give my cats soup. They literally need to drink water before they can eat their now-absorbed, water-based food. I'm trying my best to prevent any UTIs. I love my babies.

Water by fountains is great for hydration and I put ice cubes in to keep water cool in summer months.

Never understood why y’all thought cats ate pellets when in the wild they eat raw prey. I’ve never once fed my cat dry food in my life. She’s always had wet food and fresh meat chicken, fish, lamb, rabbit organ meats. And you top it off with water as well as a fountain.

tap water also is bad due to the chemicals and hard minerals. they need quality bottled water to avoid kidney issues.

My little girl loves water fresh from the shower , and i change it every couple days , she drinks a ton of water , clean bowl and cold shower water 🐈⬛

water fountain didn't work for my cats but my girl sneezes into the bowl a lot so they have a very small bowl and I wash it out daily -- even if she doesn't sneeze in it it'll have to be washed out daily cuz water level gets low

I give my cats like wet, frozen water bottles that like you know, they drip water out of them. They like that I call them lickE poos or lickE LickEs they love them

At my cats first vet appointment they said they were happy we were giving them wet food because most cats get their water from food. I had to argue with my wife that we were going to keep giving them wet food after they were kittens because that’s what the vet said. I won in the end.

worse for males too. they develop stones on their urinary tract so you must make sure they're hydrating. I minimize dry food altogether
