Apophenia and Pareidolia: The human brain naturally tries to find patterns in random noise. Listeners and operators piece together fragmented radio words to make them fit the context of the questions being asked. Confirmation Bias: The person asking the questions already knows what narrative they want. They easily remember the rare coincidences where a random word matches the room and forget the 90% of gibberish that makes no sense. Control and Reliability Issues/Potential for Leakage: If the blindfold or noise-canceling headphones are not completely soundproof, the receiver can faintly hear the operator's questions, leading to subconscious or conscious prompting. Lack of Scientific Controls: Investigations rarely use rigorous controls—such as isolated soundproof rooms, pre-recorded baseline questions, or independent verification—to rule out audio bleed or prior rehearsal. Susceptibility to Faking: For entertainment or online content (like YouTube and reality TV), it is very easy to stage, edit, or pre-arrange questions and answers to create an engaging storyline. Hence, I take Estes sessions with a grain of salt.

To each their own. Some really enjoy and do very well doing the estes method. Others have more success communicating using other tools. As a viewer I find watching creators using the Estes method one of the most interesting paranormal tools available.

When creators start to exaggerate spirits become everything else besides the spirit. Spiritual gifts become non existent, the "rehearsed show" becomes more and more obvious~ Eventually the creator loses direction. Thats disrespecting spirits!

Most definite ,Once upon a time “we” approached it with caution and time , now it just seems so causal and gift goal intended , yet no signs of repercussions , people really need to start seeing what’s paranormal , what’s gift goal related , and what’s sometimes even sci fi ✌️❤️

We rarely do Estes anymore although the concept is fascinating I don’t trust 90 percent of it cause the only one hearing is the ones with the headphones now if there was a method with dual audio so we can hear what the person with headphones on I’d be impressed, but too many people faking “what they hear” , can’t trust it imo. It’s not everyone but way tooooo many people are doing it.

It’s called the Estus method because that is the way it is intended to be done, demanding it to be done any other way changes it. And that is what experimentation is. What about EVP’s? What about asking questions and getting answers from any device? It’s also up for interpretation people hear different things….. so how does personal opinion, make any one method more valid than any other.? The simple fact is there are more questions than answers, and probably always will be.

Always glad to see your questions. I think the there are many who don’t understand how it can be done incorrectly and lower some’s credibility but there are some who do a great job with it.
