If anyone wants to know why they do this it’s cause there a thing called book lice and it damages books and it’s normally found in books that are old or not taken cared of and freezing the books for like 48 hours will kill any bugs in the book if there is any🥰

I use ziplock bags and reuse them to save plastic use, I freeze all my books as the majority are secondhand

Hmmm as someone who learns biotechnology, you should put it in the sun rather than do that. You only need it four-five hours outside and they’re all gone. Freezing takes a week (4 days isn’t enough btw) and it can ruin the pages because of moisture
