Honestly, as another teacher with adhd, the contradictory things change daily. But my favorite is getting mad when they make faces at eachother, but when they look at me I make a weird face and rage bait them when I deny it. (I teach MS too)

I’m never late but I have so many side quests and they know how to distract me. I teach science so they ask anti science questions…. Think, why is the earth flat. 😩 I can’t help myself.

Just sad :
Another teacher with ADHD over here, are we contradictions? Well duh. BUT, we connect with the neurodivergent kids in ways they have never connected before! They feel seen. Understood. Safe. We get to model strategies to help them manage their ADHD without feeling broken or dismissed. I wear my ADHD in my sleeve proudly because I know what a difference it makes to that kid who has always thought there was something wrong with them. ❤️❤️thank you for being out there doing the same!! 🥰
