@somedudeincanada2.0: laser light total internal reflection in a water stream #light #physics #laser #water #demonstration

mukurunjenga :

What stops the light beam from breaking the water barrier?

j :

fiber optic cable?

Proudpops83 :

That’s how they make Mountain Dew

Gonzarelli :

Weak laser takes a 7 foot wave to make me bend it like Beckham

riznmgth :

therefore explains how we bend reality since its made of light and we of water

issa_briss :

do they have these in the cyberpunk universe

Max.zip :

Fiver optic cable. High speed internet access.

FU FU :

now use sound to make the water do something nice spirals or waves or something ❤️❤️🥰

D**th To All N*zis :

Is the light *technically* bending, or is it bouncing off the edges of the water at an angle? Not trying to be a smart ass, that's a genuine question.

Billy Bolt :

me after drinking too many glow sticks 😂

whalebussy :

i need this implanted so i can see my stream at night

timepieceguy_42 :

okay, does a bit of Lazer get trapped in droplets when the water starts breaking up at the bottom?

SwagArts :

sooo just be sure there isnt a fingerprint on container where the laser shines through it. i have permanent eye damage from this very cool demonstration going spectacularly wrong and turning the whole room into a laser fireworks show. not severe damage, but i have a small sqiggle like a permanent floater where its just black and slightly slewed sense of color in one eye... a bit annoying as an artistic person.

ShmuelSherback 🇨🇦 :

Ahhh that’s so cool. I want more content like this on tiktok

Themainplayer321 :

bro made hulks piss

Bear🐻‍❄️🌳 :

its also exerting radiation pressure- read my thesis if it calls to u

Cypher§ :

Simce light can be bend by water itself is it also possible that clouds can be affected by when we aim large amount of light on it?

NSG :

Thank you I never knew how fiber optics work or solve this demonstration before

asdfghjklzza :

This is how they made the pyramids and the interwebs

kim :

that's so cool!

Stardusty :

so light can be distorted, like the effect of black holes

edendeeznuts_67 :

nickname :

Fun fact:

Yung Chef :

High speed internet access

2026inthe6ix :

But does the laser still shine through the water in addition to bending with it?
