@brittanyvwilder: Replying to @Kasia A little bit about how I became a full time artist, with some advice (sort of, more like how I handled certain things! This is not a how to) Also, I wish I had mentioned this in the video, but the main reasons I’ve been able to spend more time in the studio the past few years and focus on poem club in the beginning before knowing what it would become are because 1) I live in a LOCL area and 2) I have the HUGE privilege of living with a partner who is very supportive. Like I said, please feel free to ask any other questions ❤️

This was great to hear! I’m so curious in the past how you would prioritize which area of your art to work on? I right now am trying to balance all the things I’m wanting to work on (watercolor, photography, writing) while also working a full time job and raising two tiny humans (eek!)

This was super insightful to hear, thank you for taking the time to create this video! I’ve been in a mental spiral of what to do next now that I’ve been away from my last corporate job for half a year. Validating to hear the reminder that having a full time job while doing art slowly on the side doesn’t take away from you being an artist. 🫶🏼
