there is this one time I asked my friend to host me for a semester coz back home we had just suffered a major financial breakdown after mzee died and i couldn't even afford the hostels. initially my "friend" lived alone and I thought to myself since we were close i stood a chance staying with him till I had my life figured out. Long story short i talk to him and he tells me it's no big deal and he is more than willing to do that. to compensate for accommodation I focused all the money I could get into making sure we had meals. fast forward a week ..his girl comes visiting and at 1st it wasn't that much of a big deal till I find out she's actually a roommate. Mark you its a singleroom. now the budget grew bigger and I still had no solid stream of upkeep money and soon I could keep up. at this time I had given up sleeping on the bed and shifted to the coach, even if I had no classes I had to leave and come back later just to save myself from the embarrassment of seeing them smash without caring that I was in the room. I struggled with the budget and the humiliation grew ...from coming back from class hungry to dirty dishes that I had to do and nothing to eat while they cuddle ...ticklish under the blanket...throughout all this experience i undertood pple beyond looks and social interactions ... enyewe i had no where to go... the experience grew way unimaginable...so yes i have had no place to go...LITERALLY... it was either streets or sit through that semester..all in all it's the best motivation I ever got coz my kids ain't experiencing that from anyone.

Even now that is what am going through my dear. Living in Nairobi with a relative my friend is suicidal. Okay me kwa sababu wazazi wako shagz and they know that they are poor manze the treatment napata huku is beyond words, I wakes up at 5 am na kuosha gari , lazima ufanye kazi ka mtumwa ndo nijionekane hardworking but they will never appreciate, They talk shit behind my back and discuss me thoroughly in their bedroom. Sasa huyu naishi naye ni My Uncle , he is a contractor, I think mnajuma kazi ya contractor, Namwendea hata mjengo na hakuna kulipwa saa zingine ananishow food , nyumba na mahali pa kulala na kuoga napata bure so mbona hata anilipe. Manze mi nalipwa na hii food nakula , Food iko kwa wingi but hawajakueka free kuzitumia, hata ikiwekwa kwa meza unatense kujiserve juu you just know what's going on in their head, Hapo kidogo tu unaskianga unapenda kula hata. Kuamka unaamka mapema ndo usionekane unapenda usingizi. Kuishi na Rela ni noma. Hata kupanguza meza, we ndo unaonyeshwa upanguze mi 25 years old na mtoto wake grade 6 ako hapo anatulia tu na Simu akiwatch Animations. Hata unasahau kidogo hivi washakuambia ati we ni Simu unapenda , Sitawaitamani my Kid or anyone namjali aishi na Relative sanasana ukijuwa you are coming from a humble Background.
