@poppy_and_kaylee: I never thought we’d still be using poppy’s swim diapers 3 years later 🥹 #childloss #keepsakes #lifeafterloss #griefjourney #momchat
If Rosie and Peter have any special outfit they like from Poppy you can keep it and sew it in there wedding dress and tuxedo if they get married 🥹💗

I’ve never lost a child, by the grace of God. But I can’t imagine telling you that any of this is “odd” or “weird”. Maybe one day your heart will feel like organizing it all in totes. But for now seeing all of her stuff brings you peace and that’s all that matters.

Nothing you keep is ever weird. I’ve kept an empty bottle of dry shampoo for 10 years that my brother who died bought me 🥲

I have the cardigan I wore when I last hugged my mom. it hangs in my closet and has for the past 9 years. I could never get rid of it. I also have the dress she wore to my wedding. I just recently lost my dad. I kept one of the shirts he wore often as well as his cologne... so I can spray and sniff ❤️My hubby and I just moved into my parents house. The ultimate comfort 🥹 They are here with us and watching us raise our babies.

Kaylee, none of this is weird. You are the most incredibly generous normalizer of all things parent grief. I think of poppy EVERY time i see a poppy. Sending you so much love. Ps: I’m sure you know this a million times over but there are quilters who will take sentimental clothing from which they make the most beautiful quilts. 🧡

I haven’t lost a child but I’ve followed you since she was physically with us. I vote for you to take it all with you so you can do what feels right when it feels right.

I’ll expose myself with you. It wasn’t my child but my husband passed away in January. I still can’t touch his side of the closet and I still have the last jug of koolaid he ever made in my fridge. It was his favorite drink and there was always a pitcher of it in our fridge. Yes it’s 8 months old but I just can not throw it out!!! There is no wrong way to grieve. Love your page! One of my favorites!!!

Keep ALL of it. So special! Do not feel any certain way that you think you should. You had a baby and and went through so much with her. Keep it all!

Put her feeding tube into 1 of those clear globe ornaments you can fill. Put some battery operated twinkle lights in it...hang it up for Christmas.

I kept the last slot of formula in a 3 compartment container as it should have been his next bottle. October makes 7 years. Lost my son at 5 months old to SIDS

I was 18 when I had my little girl at 20 weeks pregnant. I still have the clothes me and my husband both wore the last time we held her. 12 years later and I still have them💕
