its not an insult. because a lot of motorcycle taxi only have 1 spring at the back and if that thing break because of heavy weight its not worth it for couple of hundreds of peso for thousands of replacemenr

i think he do not intentionally offend you specially when he cannot speak english fluently.. they typically wnats foreigners cause they know foreigners give big tips.. but next time you can put on note on how much you weigh and your height so they can decline you when their motorcycle can't handle your weight.. pls be considerate also thank you

I think he did not mean to insult you. Scooters are small and can only handle a certain weight. May I suggest you take Grab car instead? I know it’s much more expensive but please understand that MCtaxi riders can’t always afford to get their scooters fixed if a part gets damaged.

you just both got culture shock. Typical passenger is more smaller than your average physique. If you prefer motorcycle ride better put note when booking a trip that way both of you will have expectation set. or better just choose a car ride where you can choose a type of car
