@sweetpeawax_: A very old video of me teaching out of the little studio my parents built for me, attached to their house. It was the perfect space to teach my classes, with two separate entrances, its own bathroom and a sink. One thing about my parents is that they have always believed in me from the very beginning, and I will forever be grateful for them. The pandemic didn’t affect me financially because I was working a full-time sales job while also teaching classes on the side. I was making great money, but I was deeply unhappy. I would come home crying almost every day because I was so stressed. One day, my dad called and asked me how work was going. I finally told him, “I’m ready to quit and go back to waxing full-time.” Without hesitation, he said, “Then leave right now.” That moment meant everything to me. He believed in me before I fully believed in myself, and his support gave me the confidence to walk away from something that was making me miserable and return to what I was truly meant to do. Everything I’ve built today started with my parents believing in my vision from the very beginning. #esthetician #waxing
