Look at the gym, not as a chore, or a “ugh I have to do this”. I look at the gym as a hobby, something I enjoy, every single session is me being better than I was the previous day. That gets me going.

You got to put your heart in it and love it with passion that’s easy to do when you realize it’s a form of worshiping the Lord bettering your holy temple of God so you should love it.

so the biggest part is building the habit. so the thi g that happens when you first start going to the gym is once it clicks you really want to go all out as first like youre tryna get your body righr and you feel motivated. but then you get burnt out, no recovery days, you start to dread and cant keep up and just quit. this would've happened to me if I didnt think about ok how can I realistically keep up with this and I really went from like 3-4 days to two and I have absolutely been able to keep up. some ppl say thats not enough and first off its more than most ppl do and second the beginning phase of the gym to me is about building the habit moee than anything. so even if one day sounds like something you can do then just go that one day

You just have to go. There’s no shortcut. It’s not always easy but just show up. Even if you don’t get the best workout in showing up is the most important thing you can do for yourself.

Find the workouts that you enjoy the most and use those to build out a base of your planning. Then supplement each lift with one thing that really pushes you out of your comfort zone. And understand that progress may not be visible for a while but it is still being made

you don't always have to give 100% sometimes showing up and giving 60% effort is good enough. just show up

Don’t listen to your feelings, rush from your bed as soon as your alarm rings, go to the gym every day, injured, sick…. Sometimes you won’t feel motivated, but as soon as you will begin (often) you will feel great!
