i dont think music is her love language that she also needs to share with michaela. i think the show makes it clear taht since fran is dealing with comp het that she needs a crutch like duty to desire marriage/children. What makes john different from the other suitors is that he is essentially just like her, he is her mirror part. She chooses him exactly because he doesnt challange her and thats what she is looking for in a man, something easy. Michaela is the exact opposite, Fran doesnt want her because she is easy, she wants her because of desire. They are polar opposites. Thats why it works
