pump tech here, the state takes calibration very seriously. the state either does testing or requires the gas station to contact a company you can preform calibrations. I'm calibration certified and we only allow 3 CCs of tolerance

I'm trying to figure out how, people who are reporting a half gallon, still have a gas gauge that says it's full. Meaning a half full tank should still show a half full tank, and not full. Right?
