@jayroddelacruz: I’ve been feeling a lot of emotions these past few days, and somewhere along the way, I became so pessimistic about everything. I was so laser-focused on what was going wrong that I became blind to everything that was going right. I wasn’t being my usual joyful self. For a moment, I felt like the world was against me, when really, so much of that negativity was happening inside my own head. That’s why Soul is such a special movie to me. It helped me realize that what I’ve been missing lately isn’t necessarily something new or extraordinary, but a deeper appreciation for the life I already have. Moreover, I do believe we all need a spark, something that makes us excited to keep living, dreaming, and looking forward to what’s next. But Soul reminded me not to get so caught up chasing the next big thing that I forget to appreciate the life I’m already living. Sometimes we’re so focused on what’s missing, what’s going wrong, or where we want to be next that we overlook everything we already have. Sometimes, the life we have right now is already a blessing. We just have to remember to notice it. #fyp #soulmovie #soul
