Tbf, I don't agree with the casting at all. They said they were going to make it book-accurate, and I don't think they delivered on that promise. On the other hand, he does look cool, dark, and mysterious, and he'll probably do a good job of portraying Snape. I still don't agree with the casting, though. It's a shame.

The problem is they'll need to change the bullying James does to Snape. James "You think a guy like you can date a girl like Lily?" Now he meant how creepy Snape was cuz Snape kind of followed Lily around, but in the HBO series that can be interpreted so badly.....
