This is exactly what people mean when they say PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CHILD. He’s sitting right there in your arms, drooling and grinding his teeth, and instead of putting the phone down, checking on him, comforting him or even trying to redirect him, you just tell him to stop and keep scrolling. The camera is ALWAYS rolling and the phone always seems to have her attention. He can’t explain what he’s feeling you have to actually WATCH his cues. Put the damn phone down and be present with your child.
