John Guiagui said that the commitment order issued by the #Sandiganbayan Third Division merely transferred the custody of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez to the #BJMP as he was set to be detained at the New Quezon City Jail - Male Dormitory. Romualdez, however, will remain confined at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan as the court has yet to resolve the motion of the defense for the continued confinement of their client. Guiagui said that he would be proceeding to Cardinal Santos after the hearing was suspended, with prosecutors wanting to have time to prepare their cross examination on the doctors of the Leyte lawmaker. | Jerod Orcullo #DailyTribune
