did everyone miss the part where Zoey plan was foe hal to lose power in his ring , make him over use it. He's running a search program flying to stop later cannons in the sky make shields and concussion blasts , and a hurricane. Also would be super boring if the ring didnt lose charge thats why writers wrote a time limit and weakness in early stories so then there's called progression

He could’ve used it no? He used it right before they got blown up so I feel he just let Jon punch and kicked through him through a closet. Unless the ring really was dead and it didn’t even work when he used it for the explosion he still ended up under rubble
