@chelsea_weber3: September 2020 — the day our world changed.💔🫂🙏🎗️💪 I still remember the fear that came with hearing the words “your child has cancer.” In September 2020, our family received the diagnosis that would change our lives forever: Maxim had neuroblastoma. At that moment, we never imagined how long and difficult the road ahead would become. We only knew that our little boy needed us to be strong, and we were determined to fight beside him. The years that followed brought treatment, hospital visits, difficult decisions, tears, uncertainty, and moments when we wondered how much more our family could endure. But through it all, Maxim kept giving us reasons to hope. His courage became our strength. We prayed for the day when we could finally say that cancer was behind us. We dreamed about seeing Maxim grow up without hospitals and treatments being part of his childhood. But our journey did not end there. Neuroblastoma came back. And then it came back again. Today, Maxim is facing his third relapse. Once again, we are standing beside our son, asking ourselves where we will find the strength and resources to continue. He needs further treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and continued medical care. We are also working toward getting him the treatment he needs in Barcelona, Spain, but the financial burden is overwhelming, and we are still far from reaching the amount required. Five years ago, we never imagined that we would still be fighting this battle today. But we are still here. Still praying. Still believing. Still fighting for Maxim.
