I pick my mat up after every bath/shower to avoid this or the mat getting moldy and I’ve had it for years and it still looks brand new! Just pick it up and lay it over the tub sticky side up so it can air dry and it’ll stay brand new.

Bru, fill it with water and a half gallon of clorix bleach and let sit for 30 minutes The tub is white as snow. Less work scrubbing at all
