freightliner cascadias are the nissan altimas of trucking. peterbilt guys are likely Harley riders. kenworths are the best trucks.

I liked Peterbilt slightly more just because the dash setup is more uniform imo. So id say #1 Peterbilt #2 Kenworth #3 Western Star. If a truck doesn't have real stacks (yes there's fakes) up the sides and dual breather intakes, then youre looked down upon

Old heads that swear up and down on series 60 Detroits and cat engines are the 350 SBC guys of the trucking world. Volvos with the d13 and Ishift are the bmw b58/zf8 speed of the trucking world. New Freightliners are Kias. Old school guys are stuck living in the past because they’re afraid of technology and couldn’t even fire up a diagnostic software on a computer 😂 newer trucks aren’t nearly as bad as everyone makes them out to be

Peterbilt and Kenworth are the Chevy/GMCs of the truck world. They love the sibling infighting over superiority. Cascadia’s are the Altimas, bottom of the barrel stuff. Volvos funny enough, are Volvos.

4 years running a Freightliner Cascadia dd15 in the oilfield so far running strong paid off in a few months it’s been a good truck but everyone has their preferences

I want to see more lowered newer style trucks. They only customize like the same 389s or whatever. A lowered/stretched long nose truck is as unique as a stanced 350z

essentially if its not a freightliner classic, pete 379-389, kw w900, and the older westernstars, then its not a truck its a Tupperware torpedo. Just personal opinion 🤷. I run a 93 379
