Yes 🤦 I also had to do this, my Mum was in a vice like grip and not responsive to logical argument. Tough love had no effect, she just became more expert at hiding it. I don't know if you're still going through this, I hope not, but it may be she needs to hit rock bottom, as mine did, before that chink of light comes in. My mum recovered but she was damaged. Keep doing what you're doing, you are helping, you definitely are helping....

My mother was a bad alcoholic.. vodka every single day. She’s been gone almost two years and I still hate the sight of vodka. Specifically the one you are pouring down the drain. So thank you. Sorry for your loss.
