Here is my opinion on that: The problem is the girls who objectify gay men by treating them only as tools for smut, while simultaneously perpetuating a heteronormative pattern that causes harm within the gay community or even in patriarchy in general. For instance: the hyper focus on top/bottom dynamics, omegaverse, and highly heteronormative/overly sexualized tropes. What is worse is that all of that is centered on the female gaze and since they will never live the gay man's experience in real life, they internalize these behaviors.
