Except multiplication and division are left to right. Multiplication is not necessarily done before division. Addition and subtraction are also left to right. It doesn’t mean always so addition before subtraction.

Anytime there is a factor attached to a set of parenthesis you always distribute first as that is part of the”P” in pemdas. You would do (30-15)^2 so that would be 225/3+5-8 so the correct answer is 72.

this is good basic knowledge. it's important to know multiplication & division can be switched. addition and subtraction can be switched. do them left to right instead

For parentheses you distribute 5(6-3)^2÷ 3+5-8 (30-15)^2. 15^2 225÷3 75+5 70-8=62
