No one understands people can be more than one person. He’s an imperialist but more importantly he was so anti Nazi. He also had racist beliefs and he is responsible for 500k total dead Anzac and Turkish soldiers. But he hated the Nazis. The world was not big enough for both Churchill and mustache man to live in Winston’s mind. It was on sight with him.

or. you have to reconsider ww2 as a whole. it doesn't matter what humans believe, Churchill, as a representative of the global hegemony was in a position where Germany's ascendence was not ideal, and that same instinct is why he was so against indias independence
