At first, Sun’s father may look strict, but if you remember that scene when Sun was lying to him about meeting a friend when he was actually seeing his brother, his father already knew but chose to stay quiet....he packed food for that "friend"and took the carrots out, which was basically his quiet way of showing that he cared about his other son while still pretending not to know. 🥹 Ever since that scen e, I knew that Sun’s father was much softer than he appeared, and now , as you can see , he is coming to terms with the fact that all he really wants is for his son to be happy. And honestly, , the real problem has always been Bay’s father. He destroyed Sun and Bay’s childhood friendship because of his own greed. He was also ashamed of Boat because he wasn’t successful, to the point that he practically kept him in the shadows. And he never really tried to understand what either of his sons was doing, feeling, or what they actually wanted. Instead, he made everything about competing against Sun’s father, always trying to outdo him in every aspect...I really hope he comes to regret everything he has done and finally learns to accept his sons for who they are, let them choose their own paths and lives, and understand that they don’t have to become what he wants them to be , just like Sun’s father is learning to let go and let his son live the life he chooses for himself.

i rarely think nong pagka kita ko sa ep 1 ng match point na mas mabuti yung papa ni bay pero nong nakita ko yung attitude ng papa ni sun mas mabuti sya we can compare how sun's father and bay's father is most likely enemies but i like the most sun's father🥹 pinalayas si bay sa kanyang tatay wala pa talagang ep 9😭

I just love how after the words Sun's father Comes to a realization that His son and Bay weren't part of the fight and that he will accept bay cause he is the one that makes his son genuinely happy . You can see that he is willing to give up his pride just to see his son happy ...... Im crying 🥺
