Hot take but if I’m making $15/hr and servers are already getting paid $18/hr there’s no way I can even afford to tip someone earning MORE THAN ME. Yes I can enjoy my money on me but I can’t pay someone else’s bills when I, struggling to pay mine and want to celebrate an accomplishment!

No but I had a couple guys sit at my dirty table that just left (we’re not seat yourself) not say a word to anyone, then try to move EVERYTHING OFF THE TABLE TO A CLEAN ONE. I was watching them so I finally went up. Asked them to go back to the front and we can help them. Even offered to clean that table for them. Then they walked out. When I asked them in shock and horror if they just sat at a dirty table and moved everything to a clean one, they said yes is that okay? We’ve never been here before. Like you mean here as in planet earth or to a restaurant???

I had a guy last week, was in from the start, to the end of my shift, was talking people up, buying beers and shots for people, then end of the night, guy had a 160$ tab, and said he can’t afford to tip me at the moment but will tip me when he gets back from “the world” and left tipping nothing 😭😭
