@bryonycx: A truly once in a lifetime kind of experience to get to witness a turtle lay her eggs, I feel so incredibly lucky right now 🥹 A few things to note however if you do want to do this in Cape Verde: 1/ Do not walk on the beaches at night and if you do a trip you must have a government licensed guide - If not this is illegal 2/ Wear dark clothes, no perfume or sprays 3/ Do not use flash, keep your device brightness on the lowest option 4/ Stay well back from the turtle and under no circumstance should anyone be touching a turtle or eggs 5/ Be super quiet, as to not disturb them If for any reason you do a tour and it turns out your guide doesn’t have a license, or appears to be breaking the rules please report them via Project Biodiversity 🐢 #capeverde #capeverdeturtles #turtlenesting #loggerheadturtles #turtles
