Had this happen a few times. Worst one was when I died and they threw a troll raid right after. They killed all of my 2 star boars. It’s on sight for any troll in my vicinity now.

This is why I build forward opporating bases near swamps. The largest swamp we found, I built it with smelters and mead makers

we always have a main swamp portal then we also have a quick portal always outside of whatever crypt we are inside of. just leave it unnamed and it'll automatically connect. you don't need to type in anything.
