Thank you for all your early pregnancy tips/stories on my post yesterday, I went and met with my new Dr (who I’m in love with he’s so jolly and friendly and knowledgable and didn’t make me feel like a drama queen which the last guy did WHILST I was miscarrying 😮‍💨). He took my bloods and the results came back this morning …honestly the healthcare here blows my mind that’s so fast. My levels are looking ok, at the bottom end of the expected range, he’s told me at this level we should expect a heartbeat and I have a scan at the hospital late tomorrow afternoon and then I’ll meet with him again early next week to discuss everything and draw bloods again. Can I just say as hard as it is being so far from family right now I’m so grateful this is happening in a country where I can choose a Dr who I actually like and who will get to know me personally and who I can discuss care with for more than 3 minutes per appointment. And also being somewhere with plenty of vitamin D is definitely helping my mental state 😂 I’ll maybe talk more about this another day, there are pros and cons…but I feel better looked after than I would in the UK right now, no doubt.
